PTSD Needle Monster Concept

A concept piece I made for my Year 2 Game Jam.
Our theme was Echoes Of The Past, and the idea was to play as a retired war veteran who has to overcome household chores in order to help his mental state heal. However, he sees his carers as horrific monsters, based on different aspects of medicine.
The most interesting one I decided to work on was a monster covered in needles, to showcase the fear of being sedated. I wanted to make it uncomfortable to look at, and give it very spindly proportions.
The first variation of the design had elements which made it look more unserious, so I fixed the legs so that they would add to how unnatural the design looked.
